This series of illustrations was inspired by my travels to Mussoorie — a serene hill station nestled in the northern part of India. Through these artworks, I set out to capture the quiet beauty, simplicity, and unhurried rhythm of life in the hills — a stark contrast to the fast-paced world we inhabit in cities.
Each piece reflects everyday moments — the warmth of the locals, winding roads, misty mornings, and the comforting stillness that surrounds it all. These illustrations were also a personal experiment — a way to break away from commercial work and reconnect with storytelling through a more reflective, observational lens.

An illustration that I did based on my travel to Musssoorie, a small hilly region in the Northern part of India. The woman called Amita lives in upper region of the town called Landour. She takes care of her beautiful greenhouse while her husband is a writer who has several mystery novels to his credit.
